Qualifications

  • Certified Expert in Microsoft Word or equivalent skills.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in document control or administrative support.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and other Office suite tools.
  • Strong word processing and document editing skills, including formatting, styles, tables, and links.
  • Experience working with GMP documents or in a regulated documentation environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced and dynamic environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Job Title: Document Control TechnicianJob Description

The Document Control Technician joins a fast-paced, collaborative Quality Assurance (QA) team and is responsible for formatting, updating, and maintaining controlled documents—such as SOPs, Work Instructions, and Master Batch Records—using Microsoft Word and standardized templates. This role ensures that all documents meet quality and regulatory requirements, remain consistent, and are accurately formatted. The position requires expert-level word processing skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a regulated documentation environment. Curiosity, initiative, and the ability to ask questions and propose creative solutions are highly valued in this role.

Responsibilities
  • Format Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) documents using approved templates to ensure consistency and compliance.
  • Convert existing documents into new template formats while preserving content integrity.

Work Environment

This position is based 100% onsite, with the potential for a hybrid schedule once the individual is fully trained and acclimated. The role operates in a high-paced, dynamic Quality Assurance environment that focuses on GMP and regulated documentation. Work is primarily computer-based, using Microsoft Word and other Microsoft Office applications to manage, format, and archive controlled documents. The environment emphasizes collaboration, clear communication, and adherence to quality and regulatory standards, while encouraging curiosity and creative problem-solving.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
