Job summary

VulcanForms is seeking a Document Control Specialist to ensure compliant documentation in our QMS for aerospace and medical manufacturing. You will enforce version control, maintain lifecycle tracking, and prepare packages for audits while collaborating with Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams.

The role requires 2–4 years in documentation management, strong MS Office and metadata skills, and experience with eQMS/PLM systems.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in documentation management.
• Experience in manufacturing and/or medical device or aerospace production preferred.
• Knowledge of version control practices and document lifecycle workflows.
• Strong formatting, indexing, and metadata tagging.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
• Experience using eQMS and/or PLM systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.
• Team player with cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure documentation is reviewed and approved per internal procedures.
• Maintain formatting, naming conventions, and metadata standards.
• Implement version control and document approval policies.
• Maintain and track documents throughout their lifecycle.
• Publish Change Orders and resolve discrepancies with owners.
• Create templates and forms for use by staff.
• Support audits and compliance reviews with documentation packages.
• Coordinate releases with document owners and training requirements.
• Assist administration of eQMS systems (Greenlight Guru, Windchill).
