Job description

Job Description

This position is responsible for maintaining records and operating document control systems to ensure compliance with FDA Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), OSHA, EPA, DEA, and AMRI policies and procedures. The incumbent also provides support at the main reception desk, greeting visitors (customers, regulators, corporate visitors, new employees, etc.) in a professional manner and processing visitors efficiently.

Major Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:

  1. Coordinate site-wide document control systems and processes to ensure integrity and compliance with regulations, including:
  • QC records (raw material, intermediate, finished product releases)
  • Test methods, specifications, validation protocols, and reports
  • QC calibration and qualification documents
  • Ensure documentation/records are indexed, filed, archived, retrievable, and issued in accordance with AMRI policies and procedures.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for both hard copies and electronic files, including onsite and offsite archiving.
  • Maintain training records using the Learning Management System.
  • Provide administrative support to site departments such as QA/QC, Human Resources, Maintenance, and Accounts Payable to streamline processes.
  • Support logistics for customer and regulatory audits, meetings, plant events, including travel arrangements, meals, and lodging.
  • Manage calendars and schedules for Site Lead Team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by site management.
  • Qualifications
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role.
    • Experience with SAP is highly preferred.
    • Strong attention to detail and self-checking skills.
    • Good communication and time management skills.
    • Professional demeanor for greeting and processing visitors.
    • Experience working with a Learning Management System.
    • Proven ability to handle confidential information appropriately.
