Job summary

Franklin-Mint-Federal-Credit-Union-1 is seeking a quality assurance professional to ensure the integrity of closed and purchased loan files and the document management system. You will review closing packages for compliance, maintain origination records, and clear post-closing deficiencies while coordinating with a third-party QC provider.

The role requires 2+ years in financial services with closing experience and strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, along with knowledge

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree plus 2+ years of related financial services experience to include 1 year of closing experience or, equivalent experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • Strong demonstrated abilities required: Customer/Member Service, Interpersonal/Team Player, Analytical/Problem Solving.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures quality assurance of the closed and purchased loan files and document management system in accordance with Mortgage Policy/Procedure and Compliance Manuals.
  • Conducts comprehensive quality assurance review of closing packages and purchased loan packages for compliance and completeness.
  • Maintains document management for the Loan Origination system and prepares for extraction of files for upload to Servicing system.
  • Follows up and clears post-closing deficiencies in a timely manner.
  • Coordinates with a third party quality control provider per policy for review of random and targeted selections.
  • Reviews, responds and takes corrective action when appropriate.
  • Manages post-closing and quality control audits and monthly reporting.
  • Prepares and reviews credit packages for inclusion in loan participations.
  • Monitors, tracks, and organizes recorded mortgages and loan policies to ensure mortgage liens are perfected.
  • Adheres to operational controls and compliance with BSA and OFAC regulations.
