Job summary

WSP USA seeks a Document Control Specialist to manage and control project documents across design, pre-construction, construction, and closeout phases. You will ensure accuracy, proper naming, metadata, and distribution using Procore, SharePoint, and EDMS standards.

You will train project teams, owners, contractors, and third parties on document management requirements and system usage, while maintaining QA/compliance and protecting confidential information.

Qualifications

  • - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • - 5–7 years of experience supporting major capital improvement programs or large-scale projects.
  • - Document control experience across design, pre-construction, construction, closeout, or similar project phases.

Responsibilities

  • - Manage controlled project documents using Procore, SharePoint, and EDMS.
  • - Configure, update, and maintain Procore and SharePoint tools, modules, pages, and collaboration resources.
  • - Train and support project team members, owners, contractors, and third parties on document management requirements, systems, Procore use, and Document Controls procedures.
  • - Review submissions for accuracy; manage naming, numbering, metadata, distribution, electronic filing, records retention, and QA/contractual compliance.

Document Control Specialist


  • Manage controlled project documents—including correspondence, submittals, reports, RFIs, plans, specifications, client documentation, and responses—using established document control procedures, Procore, SharePoint, and EDMS standards.

  • Configure, update, and maintain Procore and SharePoint tools, modules, pages, and collaboration resources.

  • Train and support project team members, owners, contractors, and third parties on document management requirements, systems, Procore use, and Document Controls procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

Education And Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • 5–7 years of experience supporting major capital improvement programs or large-scale projects

  • Document control experience across design, pre-construction, construction, closeout, or similar project phases


Systems And Technical Skills


  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and word processing tools

  • Working knowledge of Procore, SharePoint, and Bluebeam.

  • Knowledge of document, records, and data management systems and best practices

Compensation

Expected Salary (all locations): $99,400 - $115,100


WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
