Job summary

Owens & Minor is seeking a Document Control Coordinator to manage document review workflows, change requests, and archiving at an off-site facility. You will handle customer-facing records such as certificates and product questionnaires while coordinating with the central document control team.

Ideal candidates bring a High School diploma or GED, 3+ years in document control, and experience with SAP/ETQ and Microsoft Office tools.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED is required.
  • Associate degree is preferred.
  • Three+ years of document control experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the completion of documents review activities.
  • Processes change requests, including approval routings, and document releases as needed.
  • Revises training software with updates as they are released.
  • Coordinates with the corporate document control team to communicate revised documentation to the site.
  • Manages records and documents for storage at off-site facility, stages and controls documents prior to off-site storage.
  • Authorized Deviation and Quality alerts, posted within the facility.
  • Performs additional duties as directed.

The anticipated pay rate for this position is: $21.07/hourly

Position Summary

Coordinates Document Control activities including scheduled reviews, change requests, approval routing, revised document notifications, and document archiving at off‑site storage facility. Provides customer facing documentation/records, such as, customer certificate requests, product questionnaires, and quality surveys.

Main Responsibilities
  • Oversees the completion of documents review activities
  • Processes change requests, including approval routings, and document releases as needed
  • Revises training software with updates as they are released
  • Coordinates with the corporate document control team to communicate revised documentation to the site
  • Manages records and documents for storage at off‑site facility, stages and controls documents prior to off‑site storage
  • Authorized Deviation and Quality alerts, posted within the facility
  • Performs additional duties as directed
Education & Experience
  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • Associate’s degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two‑year college or technical school preferred
  • Three or more years of applicable experience required
  • Or any equivalent combination of education and experience to meet the above requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Ability to perform functions in SAP, ETQ, and Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Visio
  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Manages time and resources effectively through strong organization, multi‑tasking, delegation, time management and project management skills
  • Works independently as a self‑starter committed to delivering the highest in customer service, quality and results
  • Anticipates problems and works proactively to solve them
