Qualifications

• Current doctoral student in nursing, psychology, or related health/behavioral science field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and comfort working with patients and caregivers.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Strong academic writing skills and interest in contributing to manuscripts, abstracts, and presentations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow human-subjects research protocols.
• Commit approximately 20 hours per week for 12 months.
• Preferred: experience with clinical research, REDCap, qualitative analysis software, or interview/qualitative analysis methods.
• 12-month stipend with tuition remission.

Responsibilities

• Conducting study visits with patients and caregivers.
• Administering study measures and collecting research data per protocol.
• Entering and maintaining study data in REDCap.
• Leading qualitative interviews with patients and caregivers.
• Assisting with qualitative data analysis.
• Participating in weekly research team meetings.
• Assisting with manuscript, conference abstract, and presentation preparation.
• Assisting with other research activities as needed.
