Job summary

Wolfe Eye Clinic in Ames, IA is seeking a full-time Doctor Assistant to support physicians in clinic and surgical scheduling. The role includes patient work-ups, charting, and handling prior authorizations across the Iowa region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of an Associate's Degree is required.
• Previous experience in a medical office.
• Previous experience with an electronic medical record or medical office software.
• Ability to effectively enter information into a variety of computer programs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to provide excellent patient service.

We have an immediate opening for a full-time Doctor Assistant based in our Ames clinic.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the physician during clinic
