Job summary

McFarland Clinic in South Ames is seeking a Sales Associate/Optician to greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and deliver extraordinary care.

You will make, repair, adjust and dispense prescription lenses and frames; take measurements and assist in lens design; complete daily sales and receipts, and prepare bank deposits. On-the-job training is available. Educational requirement is a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• 1 year optical industry experience preferred but not required.
• On-the-job training available.
• Pre-employment drug screen and criminal background checks required.

Responsibilities include: Greet, check in patients. Verify demographics & insurance. Make, repair, adjust and dispense prescription lenses and frames. Take measurements and evaluates patients for assistance in lens design. Complete daily sales and receipts, prepares bank deposits.

Day : Monday - Friday

Hours : 8:00 AM - 5:0 PM

Experience

One year of optical industry experience preferred but not required.
