Job summary

Wolfe Eye Clinic is seeking a Registered Nurse based in Hiawatha, IA, with travel to other clinics to support Retina teams. You will work closely with retina specialists to deliver comprehensive patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include rooming patients, administering injections, assisting with exams, triaging calls, scribing, maintaining EMR, and handling pre-authorizations. Iowa nursing license required; day shift with full benefits and travel within state.

Qualifications

• Active Iowa nursing license is required.
• Experience providing injections and assisting physicians preferred.
• Ability to travel within Iowa for site coverage.

Responsibilities

• Rooming patients and preparing them for examinations.
• Administering injections as directed by clinicians.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures.
• Triaging phone calls and responding to tasks.
• Scribing for physicians during visits.
• Maintaining electronic medical records accurately.
• Performing insurance pre-authorizations as needed.
• Other clinical duties as assigned.

This position will travel to other clinics with the Retina teams.This position will work closely with the retina specialists to provide comprehensive care for our patients.
