Healthcare Team Lead at The Judge Group

Job Title: Medical Testimony Provider

Location: Remote

Duration: Ongoing

Schedule/Shift: Daytime business hours M-F (flexible)

Overview

Our client is seeking licensed medical professionals to provide independent, expert medical testimony in support of disability adjudication proceedings. This role is fully remote, non-clinical, and non-patient-facing. Providers serve as neutral medical experts, testifying virtually before Administrative Law Judges and attorneys regarding medical evidence in disability claims. This flexible opportunity allows providers to participate in hearings on a per-diem basis, offering objective medical opinions without patient care responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review claimant medical records prior to scheduled hearings
  • Provide objective medical testimony during disability hearings
  • Clarify medical diagnoses, severity of impairments, functional limitations, and consistency of evidence with disability criteria
  • Answer questions posed by Administrative Law Judges and attorneys
  • Reference SSA listings (Blue Book) when applicable
  • Maintain neutrality — no advocacy or treatment decisions
Required Qualifications
  • Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
  • Board certified or board eligible (varies by specialty)
  • Strong documentation review and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable testifying in a legal/administrative setting
