Job summary

Boston Dynamics is seeking a Manager, Documentation Systems in Waltham, MA. You will bridge precise technical writing with platform innovation, guiding a dual-function team of writers and developers to deliver scalable, user-friendly documentation.

Reporting to the Associate Director of CL&D, you will own the CMS roadmap, ensure high availability, and align documentation with product releases while driving KPIs for documentation health and platform engagement.

Qualifications

5+ years in technical documentation, content engineering, or platform management.
Experience leading cross-functional teams and projects.
Ability to translate complex robotics concepts into accessible documentation.

Responsibilities

Manage and mentor a cross-functional team of Technical Writers and Developers.
Own the roadmap for our documentation platform (CMS).
Collaborate with Platform Developers to maintain infrastructure and Docs-as-Code workflow.
Establish style guides, taxonomies, and quality standards for documentation.
Liaise between CL&D and engineering/product teams for feature alignment.
Define and track KPIs for documentation health and platform engagement.
