AAA Cooper Transportation, Inc. in Florida is seeking a part-time Dockworker to load and unload trailers, organize freight, and plan loading to maximize space while minimizing damage. You may operate handling equipment and must meet safety and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities include equipment inspection, fueling, dock maintenance, and performing other duties as assigned. Applicants must have a high school diploma, be 18+, pass a drug screen and background check, and hold forklift

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 18 years or older.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Satisfactory background check.
• Must be certified as forklift operator.
• Familiar with handling hazardous materials procedures.
• Read, write, speak and understand English well.
• Flexible hours.

Responsabilidades

• Load and unload trailers and move freight across the terminal dock, with or without mechanical equipment.
• Load freight to/from dock and trailers according to Bills of Lading and other documents.
• Plan loading to utilize space and minimize damage.
• Hook and unhook trailers, operate landing gear as required.
• Inspect equipment for defects and safe operating condition.
• Fuel vehicles and other company equipment.
• Clean, sweep and wash dock, trailers, yard, tractors, and work areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
