Job summary

AAA Cooper Transportation, Tallahassee, FL is seeking a part-time Dockworker to load, unload and sort freight at our terminal. You will work with teammates to ensure on-time, damage-free deliveries and follow Bills of Lading instructions.

The role requires a high school diploma, ability to pass drug screen and background check, forklift certification, and familiarity with hazardous materials. Flexible hours and basic English communication are needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid forklift operator certification.
• Ability to read, understand and follow Bills of Lading and safety procedures.
• Good communication skills and basic English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and move freight at the terminal dock.
• Arrange freight on trailers to maximize space and minimize damage.
• Inspect equipment and ensure safe operation of vehicles and gear.
• Fuel equipment as needed and keep dock and trailers clean and organized.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
