Job summary

Saia is a logistics and transportation company seeking a dock worker to load and unload freight. You will operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move items in a safe and compliant manner at our facilities in Colorado. Your role includes securing loads, following DOT/ safety rules, and contributing to timely shipments.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, or dock work. This is an on-site position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with forklifts and pallet jacks preferred.
• Ability to lift and move freight safely.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trailers using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Infers and uses dock tools to secure freight.
• Loads, recoups, rewraps, and stacks freight as needed.
• Verifies shipments by reading labels and securing freight.
• Follows bill and quality control procedures for timely shipments.
• Logs and reports shortages and damages to freight.
• Promotes a safe and clean work environment.
