Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Read, write, communicate and comprehend English.
• Forklift certification or hazmat training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks and other equipment in compliance with regulations.
• Operates dock tools and maintains straps, bars, airbags, cardboard and dunnage to secure freight.
• Verifies shipments by reading labels and properly securing freight for loading/unloading.
• Logs and reports shortages and damages to freight.
• Promotes a safe and clean work environment.
