Job summary

Team Services, LLC, a Gulf Coast marine services provider, seeks a Shore Tankerman to support safe loading and unloading of tank barges at refineries and chemical plants. You will connect hoses, align valves, monitor transfers, and ensure accurate documentation.

This shore-based role requires MMC, TWIC, valid driver's license, and a high school diploma. Expect rigorous safety training and quality control in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Valid MMC & Medical Certificate required.
• Valid TWIC required.
• Valid driver's license with current auto insurance.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload tank barges with proper hose connections and valve alignment.
• Monitor cargo transfer operations and liquid levels; ensure safe transfer.
• Follow USCG procedures and perform pre-transfer checks and documentation.
• Maintain PPE and safety standards; complete required paperwork after transfers.
• Communicate clearly with vessel crew, PIC, and logistics; log all activities.
• Inspect equipment and lines; report any unsafe conditions immediately.
• Assist in docking, mooring, and post-transfer debrief as required.
• Support safety and rescue operations as needed.
