Job summary

City Cruises US is seeking a Boat Painter to maintain and repair passenger vessels in our fleet. You will perform painting, prep, welding, and marine maintenance on ships and dockside facilities. The role requires attention to detail, safety, and hands-on craftsmanship.

Expect carpentry, plumbing, and structural work, plus documentation of tasks in our system. The job may involve outdoor work in all weather, and hours may include nights and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have training and experience in construction, maintenance, and repair of motor vessels.
• Professional painting and paint surface preparation for steel, aluminum, wood, and veneers.
• Skilled carpentry training and experience with interior joinery and finishing.
• Plumbing and pipe fittings experience including vessel systems.
• Ability to wear safety clothing and follow policy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and fabrication on passenger vessels.
• Paint vessel decks, hulls, topside structures, and interiors.
• Fabricate and repair structures; weld as required.
• Carpentry work on walls, ceilings, decks, and related materials.
• Document maintenance tasks and labor hours in the company system.
• Support dockside facility repairs and waterfront infrastructure.
