Job summary

Lakeside Book Company is hiring a Dock Worker in Appleton, WI. Starting rate is $18/hour for 1st shift, 9am–5pm with overtime as needed. Location: N9234 Lake Park Road, Appleton, WI 54915. Training provided; no prior experience required. Responsibilities include lifting, packing, scanning, and palletizing orders.

Responsibilities

• Lift and move full cartons from conveyor lines and place on pallets.
• Count and write information on boxes.
• Move completed pallets using a motorized standup pallet jack.
• Use a shrink wrap machine.
• Use a headset and hand scanner.
• Hand pick and pack customer orders.

As our Dock Worker you will:

• Lift and move full cartons from conveyor lines and place on pallets
• Count and write information on boxes
• Move completed pallets using a motorized standup jack
• Use a shrink wrap machine
• Use a head set and hand scanner
• Hand pick and pack customer orders

What you bring to the position:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds continuously during your shift
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire duration of your shift
• No experience necessary! We will provide you with all the training you need to be successful
