POSITION SUMMARY:

(THIS IS AN ON-SITE DOCK WORKER POSITION)

Company seeking candidates for the 2nd shift Warehouse Associates.

Load and unload freight in a safe, efficient manner to avoid shipping errors that result in customer claims or complaints.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Load and unload trailers
2. Perform re-weighs for each shift
3. Perform daily freight inspections and inspection of lift truck and other equipment
4. Inspect trailers for suitability before loading
5. Perform basic housekeeping
6. Recoup/palletize/shrink wrap freight as needed
7. Perform other duties as required

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:

1. Knowledge of basic dock procedure
2. Ability to identify, report on recurring problems/safety issues
3. 1-2 years of forklift experience
4. Forklift certification is wanted but not required

CREDENTIALS AND EXPERIENCE:

1. 1-2 years forklift experience
2. HS Diploma
