Qualifications

• 1-2 years of spotting or driver experience required.
• Valid driver's license and knowledge of dock procedures essential.

Position Summary: Stage and relocate trailers in a safe efficient manner to avoid damage. Keep the yard organized and orderly. Maintain constant communication with Dock Operations and Dispatch. Being aware of all activity in the yard and reporting damage, problems or any suspicious circumstances.

HYBRID SPOTTER/ DOCK WORKER POSITION

MULTIPLE SHIFTS AVAILABLE

Duties and Responsibilities

• Spotting trailers to and from the platform.
• Maintaining drop areas of the yard.
• Sealing loads.
• Fueling.
• Control of all yard activity.
• Inspects equipment for suitability.
• Assist on the platform if needed.
• Performs other duties as required.
• Ensuring all doors are closed when spotted in the yard. If a loaded trailer must be sealed prior to the driver picking up the load.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of basic tractor functions.
• Knowledge of basic dock procedures.
• Ability to identify and report recurring problems/safety issues.

Credentials and Experience

• 1-2 years spotting or driver experience.
• HS Diploma.
• Previous Spotter or Warehouse Experience.
