Qualifications

• Safety-sensitive position acknowledged in job description.
• Dock-to-Driver training program to obtain a Class-A CDL is provided.

Responsibilities

• Inspect truck and trailer for defects to ensure safe operating condition before, during, and after trips.
• Check shipping papers for proper descriptions etc. to ensure safe transport of freight.
• Collect payment for goods delivered and for delivery charges when necessary.
• Maneuver vehicle safely while transporting cargo in various conditions.
• Maintain radio contact with Dispatcher.
• Operate various equipment and processes on the dock and on delivery routes.
