Seneca Resources in Warren, OH is seeking a Dock Technician to support maintenance and repair of loading dock systems and related facility equipment. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and carry out minor repairs on docks, doors, locks, and hardware.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, with hands‑on electronics troubleshooting and basic electrical and plumbing tasks.

Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent, with some trade or technical training preferred.
Minimum of 3 years' experience servicing commercial dock systems, doors, and related hardware.
Proven ability to troubleshoot electronics, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems; basic electrical and plumbing skills.

Responsibilities

Conducting routine safety checks and system "shift rounds"
Servicing and maintaining dock levelers, seals, bumpers, and commercial doors (automatic and overhead)
Performing minor repairs including electrical, plumbing, and building maintenance tasks
Troubleshooting pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic systems
Documenting work activities in CMMS, analyzing findings, and updating preventive maintenance schedules
Communicating effectively with team members and clients about work progress and issues
