Job summary

International-Matex Tank Terminals LLC in Avondale, AZ seeks a hands-on facility coordinator to act as the person in charge for vessel coordination, hose connections, and compliance with Coast Guard requirements. You will monitor mooring, prepare paperwork, communicate with the Shift Foreman and vendors, and perform pigging as needed on a 12-hour night rotation.

This is a non-exempt hourly role with overtime per FLSA.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• TWIC (Transportation Workers Identification Credentials) for access to IMTT’s terminal locations.

Responsibilities

• Act as “person in charge of the facility” for coordination and communication with vessels.
• Ensure proper hose or loading arm connection between the vessel and the IMTT dock.
• Ensure dock is in compliance with all U. S. Coast Guard requirements.
• Monitor vessel mooring.
• Preparation of necessary paperwork.
• Serve as communications link between the Shift Foreman and the vessel.
• Pig lines to and from dock, as needed.
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Shift Foreman.
