Job summary

La-Z-Boy Incorporated is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to lead, motivate, train and support a warehouse team in Grand Rapids. This role ensures that shipping, receiving, storage and distribution operate efficiently while safeguarding inventory and equipment.

The position requires 1–3 years of supervisory experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage up to 2.5M in inventory. Expect up to 5% travel and a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of supervisory/leadership experience.
• Understanding of safe receiving, storing, requisitions, shipping and delivery.

Responsibilities

• Supervises general warehouse operations and employees.
• Schedules inbound and outbound arrivals.
• Inspects work in progress and enforces policy and procedures.
• Hires, trains, coaches and performs evaluations for warehouse personnel.
• Maintains safety, security, and cleanliness throughout the facility.
