• Operate forklift and handle goods safely in dock areas.
• Sort, label, and store skids in proper locations.
• Perform counts against bills of lading and packing slips during loading/unloading.
• Assist drivers with loading and unloading of goods and equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping and safe practices around the dock area.
• Submit needed reports and information in a timely manner.
• Understand and implement safe freight handling and lifting procedures.
• Assist supervisor in providing on-the-job training to new staff.
