Job summary

MSP Airport is seeking Dock Loaders to work full-time at the Minneapolis location. The role involves loading and unloading airline equipment, following safety guidelines, and working in varying weather conditions. Ideal candidates will have a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 75 lbs. Salary: $19.50 per hour

Expected Hours: 40 hours per week, at least one day out of every weekend

Job Description

Dock Loaders are responsible for loading and unloading airline equipment and food and beverage containers from the warehouse and trucks. This position requires working in all weather conditions and at a fast pace. Successful candidates will be able to follow safety guidelines, work as part of a team, and meet time-sensitive goals.

Responsibilities
  • Load airline carts and equipment onto trucks according to flight specifications
  • Unload and return empty carts and equipment from aircraft and prepare them for cleaning or reuse
  • Operate motorized equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks as required
  • Maintain clean and organized dock areas
  • Follow food safety, security, and airline guidelines
  • Communicate with team leads and supervisors to ensure proper handling of items
  • Assist with other warehouse or loading tasks as assigned
Qualifications / Experience
  • Must have a valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs
  • Ability to work in cold or hot environments and in outdoor weather conditions
  • Must be able to stand, bend, twist, and lift for extended periods
  • Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and various shifts as needed
  • Prior warehouse or loading experience preferred but not required
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures
  • Reliable attendance and teamwork required
