Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro in Oregon is seeking a Warehouse Transport Associate to move freight within dock areas to trailers, ensuring proper handling and accurate documentation. You will operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks, verify details against paperwork, and secure cargo for loading.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience in warehousing, freight handling, or forklift operation preferred.
• Basic math, communication skills, and ability to lift and move freight regularly.
• Physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds, bend, twist, and push/pull freight.
• Ability to work independently or in a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Move freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
• Verify freight against documentation, including type, weight, and hazardous materials.
• Secure freight inside trailers with straps, pallets, and ropes.
• Repair or recoup damaged freight as needed.
• Complete required reports and assist customers with freight documentation.
• Perform hostling duties and comply with safety regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
