• Basic written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Transport freight across dock area to/from trailers for loading to trailers.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and hand truck as required.
• Verify documents match freight description (type, weight, hazardous materials).
• Secure freight inside trailers using pallets, straps, rope, and other tools.
• Recoup/repair damaged freight as needed and complete required reports.
• Assist customers with freight documentation and inquiries as needed.
• Perform hostling duties if required and comply with all policies.
