Job summary

Forklifts Group in Fresno, CA seeks a Dock and Door Technician to join our full-time team. You'll diagnose and repair loading docks, industrial doors, high-speed doors, compactors, balers, and related equipment at customer sites, equipped with a company service truck and parts inventory.

You will perform planned maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and work safely in heights and confined spaces while maintaining positive customer relations and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of maintenance experience in a service technician role in the material handling industry.
• Knowledge of electrical AC/DC systems up to 480 volts, hydraulic and mechanical operations.
• Welding experience required; certification preferred.
• Able to operate forklifts and scissor lifts; dock leveler/roll-up door experience preferred.
• Must have a valid CA driver's license and a safe driving record; towing ability preferred.
• Occasional travel; some weekends and after-hours work may be required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair loading docks, doors, and related equipment.
• Provide phone and on-site technical support; maintain service vehicle and parts.
• Perform planned maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Work safely at heights and in confined spaces; maintain good attendance.
• Collaborate in a team and deliver customer satisfaction.
• Other duties as assigned.
