Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a Dock & Door Service Technician in Poway, CA. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment, and perform planned maintenance on customer equipment.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to operate lift trucks. Preferred technical schooling, welding experience, and strong communication skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Technical school graduate preferred
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude
• Welding experience
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills
• Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
• Welding.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.
