Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking knowledgeable customer-focused technicians to join our Crown team in the United States. You will troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment, and perform planned maintenance for customer sites.

We value a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid drivers license, and the ability to operate lift trucks. Welding experience and technical training are preferred as we support your growth and career path.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid drivers license and a good driving record are required.
• Ability to safely operate lift trucks is required.
• Technical school graduate preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude is important.
• Welding experience is a plus.
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills are important.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Familiar with common hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
• Welding.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.
