Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation seeks knowledgeable, customer-focused service technicians to troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment. You will maintain a service van, perform maintenance, and ensure proper documentation after each job.

Minimum qualifications include a HS diploma and valid driver's license; preferred applicants have technical schooling, welding experience, and strong mechanical/electrical aptitude. Able to read schematics and use common hand tools.

Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
• Technical school graduate preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Welding experience.
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics.
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment.
• Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer dock and door equipment.
• Welding.
• Maintain a service van and its inventory.
• Process paperwork after completion of each job.
