Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Dock Door Technician to maintain medium to large buildings and industrial systems. The role covers preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure safe, efficient operations.

You will support installation and modification of equipment and lead with CBRE RISE values. Required are a high school diploma or equivalent with 2–3 years of related experience, ability to perform physically demanding tasks, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 2–3 years of job-related experience.
• In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.
• Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repair on mechanical, electrical, and building systems.
• Conduct routine maintenance inspections, diagnose problems, and perform repairs.
• Assist with installation and modification of building equipment and systems.
• Assign work orders and estimate time and materials for repairs.
• Support energy management by ensuring efficient operation of building systems.
• Inspect new installations for compliance with codes and safety regulations.
• Lead by example in CBRE RISE values and ethics.
• Work within standardized procedures to meet deadlines.
• Communicate clearly and verify understanding while performing tasks.
