Job summary

Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company is seeking a Dock Coordinator to organize inbound and outbound warehouse operations on a daily basis. You will assign tasks, monitor cross-dock shipments in SAP, ensure accuracy and safety, and coordinate trailer dock activities to support timely deliveries.

The role requires at least a year in warehouse operations, proficiency with SAP, Excel and Word, and strong communication and analytical skills to drive efficient logistics processes.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of one year of work experience in warehouse or distribution operations.
• Prior experience in warehouse or distribution operations required.
• Proficient computer skills, including SAP, Excel, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Assigns picking tasks to available resources in the warehouse by coordinating and documenting inbound and outbound activities for daily warehouse operations.
• Evaluates and sequences cross dock shipments in SAP and validates these cross-dock shipments for accuracy and compliance before shipping/receiving.
• Oversees the safety of the dock area and inspects the condition of trailers and tractors; maintains cleanliness of shared work areas.
• Coordinates trailers to the docks utilizing yard check and communicates with the switcher/hiker and assigns inbound and outbound activities.
• Coordinates staging of built pallets.
• Verifies ASN pallets for accuracy.
• Performs the OOS warehouse walks, maintains the OOS table in POD and communicates to the floor.
• Sequences loads to the teams and/or employees in POD.
• Views/Analyze warehouse stock reports (DSI reports) and the layer opportunity report.
• Accountable for all product, including CO2 tanks, loaded onto each truck before it leaves for delivery to the customer.

Job Summary
