Crown in Joliet, IL is seeking a skilled technician to troubleshoot, diagnose, service, repair and install dock and door equipment at customer sites. You will perform planned maintenance and ensure safety and reliability of equipment in a fast-paced field role.

The role requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and ability to read hydraulic and electrical schematics. Welding experience is preferred and you should be comfortable working with hand tools and maintaining a service van

Qualifications

• Welding experience is preferred.
• Technical school education is a plus.

Minimum Qualifications

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical school graduate preferred.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Welding experience.
• Good written and verbal communication and customer care skills.
• Read and understand hydraulic and electrical schematics
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand.
