Eastern Lift Truck Co. is seeking a Dock and Door Mechanic to service Baltimore and surrounding areas. The role offers growth opportunities, competitive pay, and comprehensive benefits in a family‑oriented environment.

You will repair and maintain commercial overhead steel doors and dock leveling systems, troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical components, and work from ladders and lifts while following safety protocols. Own tools and a valid license are required.

• Performs commercial and industrial maintenance and repairs on a variety of overhead doors and dock leveling systems
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems pertaining to the operation of overhead doors and dock leveling systems
• Works from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts. Wears PPE and fall protection

Eastern Lift Truck Co. Dock and Door Mechanic

Main Duties:

• Oversee and assist in repair of overhead door and dock leveling systems
• Research and resolve issues to customer satisfaction within policy while interacting effectively with persons of diverse backgrounds
• Performs commercial and industrial maintenance and repairs on a variety of overhead doors and dock leveling systems
• Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems pertaining to the operation of overhead doors and dock leveling systems
• Works from ladders, scaffolding, and aerial lifts. Wears PPE and fall protection

Requirements:

• Experience installing, diagnosing, repairing, inspecting, and maintaining commercial overhead steel doors
• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
• Welding / fabricating experience a plus
• Individual must have their own tools
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Good driving record and active license

Compensation:

This position is paid hourly with a pay range of $20.00/hr. - $35.00/hr. Compensation is based on experience.
