Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an experienced NYC DOB Superintendent to oversee field operations of ground-up residential construction projects across New York City.

The ideal candidate will supervise on-site crews, manage budgets, ensure safety and code compliance, and coordinate with investors and subcontractors to keep critical milestones on track. Experience with multifamily, mixed-use, and affordable housing developments from excavation through turnover is preferred.

Qualifications

DOB Superintendent

• Supervise and manage on-site construction personnel to ensure project milestones are met.
• Oversee the finances of projects, including budget management and cost control.
• Collaborate with investors and stakeholders by providing project updates and addressing concerns.
• Develop and monitor scopes of work to align with project specifications and timelines.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and building codes on-site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to maintain project schedules and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections to track progress and address any issues promptly.
• Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation and reports.
