Job summary

Sapsf is seeking a Test Lead specializing in DO 178B to guide testing of embedded software. You will plan, deploy, and manage testing efforts to meet client and internal quality standards while advancing the QA team's capabilities.

In this role you will drive automated testing, develop scalable frameworks, and mentor engineers to improve process efficiency and product quality across projects.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of DO-178B standards and their application in embedded software testing.
• Proficiency in functional testing methodologies and practices.
• Experience in developing automated test scripts and maintaining test case suites.
• Familiarity with creating test strategies, plans, and risk management practices.
• Basic knowledge of programming in C++ for test automation purposes.

Responsibilities

• Participate in client and team discussions to understand specs, identify performance concerns, and prepare automated tests.
• Develop and improve automated tests for new features, with work plans and schedules to ensure timely delivery.
• Create reusable test automation frameworks, plan strategies, maintain data, and report status to manage risks.
• Mentor QA engineers in using the testing framework to boost skills and productivity.
