Job summary

Groupe Kardol is seeking a qualified test engineer to review software requirements and develop test plans and procedures for its display and instrumentation products. The role focuses on verification testing, defect reporting, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure product quality in embedded C code.

The candidate should have an AS degree in a related field, be familiar with DO-178B, and possess at least three years of embedded software testing experience.

Qualifications

• AS degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with DO-178B.
• Three years of embedded software testing experience in C for microcontroller applications.
• Experience with defect reporting and tracking.
• Experience developing test cases from requirements.
• Ability to read and analyze C code.
• Proficient with MS Word and Excel.
• Experience with ISO 9000 is a plus.
• Strong collaboration in cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Review software requirements and develop test plans and procedures.
• Document analysis and verification testing of display, flight, engine or fuel instrument products.
• Create and execute test cases from requirements.
• Report and track defects to closure.
