Job summary

Champion Dodge LLC in Downey, California is seeking a DMV Clerk with automotive title experience to join our busy office. You will handle title and registration paperwork, verify documents for the DMV, post transmittals into the CDK accounting system, and process related financial entries for DMV and wholesale transactions.

This position requires strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and solid organizational and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Write license fee refund checks, clean title schedules.
• Verify legal transfer of documents for the Department of Motor Vehicles.
• Post into CDK accounting all transmittal amounts
• Post accounting entries related to all DMV and wholesale transactions.
• Accurately document all title, registration and vehicle owner information on appropriate forms for the Title and License Bureau
• Complete DMV registration paperwork for sales made at the dealership.
• Enter all information needed for title administration in computer system
• Ensure that tax and title documents are promptly and properly completed
• Maintain accurate record-keeping of vehicle inventory, including new car information, wholesale purchase and sale information
• Promptly and professionally answer all incoming and internal calls
