Job summary

Twin Falls County is seeking a Motor Vehicle Supervisor to manage daily licensing and titling operations at the Twin Falls and Buhl offices, providing leadership to staff and ensuring accurate transactions in compliance with state and county rules.

You will supervise, train, schedule, and evaluate employees, oversee the hybrid Buhl office functions, and handle front-counter support during busy periods while maintaining excellent public service.

Qualifications

• Lead, supervise, train, and support employees in a busy public-service environment.
• Learn, interpret, apply, and explain laws, regulations, policies, and procedures related to motor vehicle licensing and titling.
• Maintain accuracy while managing multiple priorities and interruptions.
• Oversee cash-handling, balancing, and accounting procedures accurately.
• Demonstrate sound judgment and independently resolve problems within laws and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations of Motor Vehicle Licensing and Titling at Twin Falls and Buhl locations.
• Supervises, trains, schedules, supports, and evaluates employees; participates in hiring and personnel matters.
• Oversees the Buhl hybrid office functions for both licensing and driver’s license tasks.
• Ensures staff are trained on changes in laws, policies, and computer systems; maintains service continuity.
• Ensures titles, registrations, license plates, and related transactions comply with state and county requirements.
• Reviews records and transactions for accuracy and confidentiality; assists customers at the counter as needed.
