Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and two (2) years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Experience teaching in classroom settings and developing lesson plans.
  • Experience completing and maintaining reports and files; proficiency with Microsoft applications.
  • Commercial Driver License (CDL) with P and S endorsements for at least 2 years is preferred.

Description of Work

THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN DISTRICT 3 – NASH COUNTY AND SUPPORTS SURROUNDING AREAS/DISTRICTS

  • This position will train and certify school bus drivers in the classroom and behind the wheel.

Salary Grade and Salary Range: NC 12/ $47,803.00-$83,479.00

Management prefers applicants with the following:
  • Experience providing instruction in a classroom setting
  • Experience developing or revising lesson plans
  • Experience completing and maintaining reports and/or filesExperience with Microsoft applications
  • Previously or currently possess a Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a P (Passenger) and S (School Bus) endorsements for at least 2 years
