Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Manager Engineering 2 (DMSMS and ModSim Manager) to lead the DMSMS and ModSim team for Product Support EI&E. The role is full time, office‑based, and located in San Diego, CA (preferred) or Palmdale, CA.
This leadership position supports the Product Support EI&E Director and OU Program Manager, coordinates priorities across multiple Operating Units, ensures high‑quality engineering analyses, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and performs CAM duties for both teams. The DMSMS team monitors and mitigates obsolescence risks of the system, while the ModSim team uses advanced statistical analysis to integrate factors that affect usage, deployment, fielding, and resupplying. The Manager mentors the engineering team, manages suppliers, presents technical status to leadership and the customer, and shapes proposal activities.
Primary Level Salary Range: $146,600.00 – $219,800.00. The salary is based on the role’s scope and candidate experience, education, and skills.
