Job summary

Quanta Manufacturing Nashville is seeking an experienced DMR/RTV Operations Manager to lead the Defective Material Review and Return To Vendor teams. You will define processes to ensure inventory accuracy and effective material flow in the DMR area.

Responsibilities include monitoring KPIs, coordinating weekly status reviews with partners in Taiwan, managing DMR receipts, packaging materials, and the offline repair group, and guiding frontline staff through training and leadership.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years leading WH and/or production operations.
• 1–2 years shipping, receiving and inventory control experience.
• ERP system experience; SAP experience a plus.
• Proficient with Word & Excel.

• Oversee the DMR area end-to-end responsibilities.
• Monitor DMR status metrics (piece quantities, dollar values, TAT, RMA status) and report to Sr management.
• Coordinate weekly DMR status review calls with Quanta Taiwan.
• Provide work assignments to DMR warehouse personnel and submit annual performance reviews.
• Manage AOI equipment and AOI Technician to prevent non-repairable parts from shipping.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• This person will have end-to-end responsibility for the DMR area.
• Ensure RTV shipments, requesting RMAs from vendors and sending return shipments are completed in a timely manner.
• Responsible to monitor status of the DMR area, such as piece quantities, dollar values, TAT (turn-around time), RMA status, etc. and report to Sr management.
• Coordinate and facilitate weekly DMR status review calls with Quanta Taiwan
• Provides work assignments to DMR warehouse personnel.
• Submits annual performance reviews for DMR personnel.
• Manages the Automated Optical Inspection machines and the AOI Technician to prevent shipment of non-repairable parts and provide information to the Quality Engineers to reduce damage.
• Manages the Onsite Validation retest fixtures provided by part OEMs to retest and confirm line failures.
• Manages the Offline repair group.
• Control of physical inventory in the RTV area.
• Manage DMR receipt functions. Ensure proper PN/SN/Part Type is processed into DMR Receipt. Maintain flow of parts into DMR receipt.
• Manage packaging material inventory levels for RTV.
• Manage rack and mechanical part repair as necessary.
• Escalation Point for RTV when dealing with vendors/QCI Buyers/Sales Group.
• Escalates to Program Manager, Quality Manager or QE as appropriate.
• Manage credit transactions associated with RTV.
• Provides data analysis reporting to support other functions and to identify trends and patterns.
• Ensure timely execution of cycle counts as well as timely resolution to issue identified during cycle counting.
• Maintain all housekeeping and safety standards.
• Instruct and train all DMR personnel in proper procedures and regulations ensuring appropriate documentation is completed.
• Train, develop and motivate front-line employees through effective communication and leading by example.

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Must have a minimum 3-5 years leading WH and or production operations and a minimum of 1-2 years of shipping, receiving and inventory control experience
• Must have ERP system experience, SAP experience a plus
• Must be proficient with Word & Excel
• BS degree in engineering, business administration or related field experience.
• Post-secondary degree preferred

Summary

The DMR/RTV Operations Manager is responsible for leading Defective Material Review (DMR) group and Return To Vendor (RTV) group. This person will be responsible for strategizing and putting solutions in place for the effective and efficient processing of parts which are returned from the Operations repair process. Ensure proper inventory accuracy and tracking of material input/output of the DMR WH. Define and/or redefine of KPIs to understand DMR performance. Establish proper organization and HC to ensure proper processing of material as well as continuously reviewing capacity of resources and equipment according to business needs and growth.
