Responsibilities

• Handle patient intake and order processing for durable medical equipment (DME).
• Provide first-line communication with patients, referral sources, and clinicians to facilitate ordering and delivery.
• Obtain required payer information, gather documentation, and obtain prior authorizations when needed.
• Educate patients on insurance plans, provisions, and financial responsibilities; assist with product selection and fitting as indicated by physician instructions.
• Maintain accurate records, ensure timely processing of orders, and support billing/reimbursement activities.
