Job summary

One Health Home Health and Hospice in the San Francisco Bay Area is seeking a part-time DME Coordinator to oversee daily operations at assigned site(s). Responsibilities include inventory management, brace fitting, documentation, and charge entry, with a focus on accurate billing and exceptional customer service.

This role emphasizes teamwork and efficiency, training and educating clinicians and staff on products and processes, coordinating with the billing office, and generating regular reports

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical assistant certification or experience preferred.
• Healthcare background and familiarity with DME processes preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily DME operations at assigned site, including inventory, brace fitting, documentation and charge entry.
• Provide superior customer service and manage orthopedic bracing and supply programs.
• Educate patients on product usage and ensure accurate insurance billing.
• Track necessary documentation for insurance claims.
• Generate reports and support process improvements.
