Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training, Health Sciences, or related field.
• 1+ years of direct patient care or healthcare experience.
• Basic knowledge of orthopedic DME.
• Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) or Orthopedic Technology certification (preferred).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Fit and dispense durable medical equipment according to physician orders.
• Educate patients on proper use and care of equipment.
• Document patient interactions, fittings, and charges accurately in the EMR.
• Coordinate DME needs for surgical cases across providers.
• Obtain insurance authorizations as needed.
• Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and reconcile stock.
• Collaborate with vendors to resolve supply issues.
• Adhere to clinical, regulatory, and compliance standards.
