Job summary

OVHcloud US is seeking a Copyright Compliance Specialist to ensure adherence to the DMCA and protect intellectual property. You will manage DMCA takedown notices, investigate infringement, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enforce rights.

The role emphasizes autonomy, collaboration, and continuous improvement in a flexible, cloud-focused environment with strong management support.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and organized.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to evolving needs.
• Familiarity with digital environments and multiple tooling platforms.
• Preferred: DMCA/trademark takedowns, IP enforcement experience; degree optional with relevant experience.
• Strong understanding of DMCA, copyright laws, and IP rights.

Responsibilities

• Process DMCA takedowns: review, assess, remove or disable content, communicate with parties.
• Coordinate with internal teams and provide guidance on copyright compliance.
• Handle counter-notifications and disputes per DMCA procedures; assess validity and resolve.
• Maintain records of DMCA notices and enforcement actions; monitor repeat infringers.
• Report trends, risks, and issues to stakeholders; identify process improvements.
• Audit daily operations and identify opportunities for automation.
• Implement and document procedural changes.
