Job summary

Jobot is seeking a DMC Project Manager in Birmingham, AL to lead complex construction initiatives with a Design Manufacture Construct delivery model. You will manage projects, coordinate cross‑functional teams, and uphold safety, quality, and budget goals.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field, excellent communication, and 1+ year PM experience in construction; EPC experience is a plus. Local candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage one or multiple projects, ensuring safety, quality, budget, and schedule adherence.
• Lead project launch and planning in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Oversee projects across various delivery structures (self-perform, subcontractors, and general contractors).
• Manage client relationships, communications, reporting, and change orders.
• Mentor and develop junior project management staff.
• Ensure timely and efficient project closeout.
• Coordinate daily with design, manufacturing, and construction teams.
• Collaborate with internal departments including logistics, shipping, and operations.
• Manage project financials and change management processes.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client-side project management.
• Coordinate with jobsite teams on logistics, module delivery, and installation planning.
• Support efficient management of site operations and general conditions costs.
• Capture and communicate lessons learned for continuous improvement.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, internal teams, and local authorities.
